Challenge

Our client, a real estate company, required a streamlined platform within Salesforce to manage commission requests and automate statement generation across internal and Community environments. The goal was to centralize data, automate processes, and ensure secure, mobile-friendly access for both internal users and external partners.

Solution

We developed a Commission Request Form application using Lightning Web Components (LWC) for an intuitive and responsive front-end. Custom elements — search boxes, combo boxes, toggles, and inputs — were included, all wrapped in a reusable Aura component for easy integration.

On the back-end, Apex classes handled CRUD operations, file uploads, and data sharing. Batch processing was applied for managing legacy data, and triggers managed transaction events to ensure efficient data processing. The application operates at the Opportunity level in Salesforce, accessible on both desktop and mobile, as well as in Community environments.

A Commission Statements module automates the identification of recipients, selection of templates, and email distribution of statements. PDF generation is managed by Visualforce pages with Apex controllers, using batch processing for efficient handling.
