Salesforce Managed Services and Ongoing Support
Salesforce managed services means a certified partner owns your Salesforce org after go-live. If your admin left, or the implementation partner wrapped up and nobody owns Salesforce anymore, we take it over: user requests, fixes, small enhancements and release checks, handled by a certified team on a fixed monthly block of hours with clear response times.
Signs your Salesforce needs an owner
Salesforce rarely breaks in one day. It drifts. These are the four situations we hear about most from operations leaders and CRM managers at SMB and mid-market companies.
Your admin left
The one person who knew how the org works has gone. Requests pile up, and nobody wants to touch a flow they did not build.
The backlog keeps growing
Small asks such as a new field, a report or a permission change wait for weeks, so the team quietly goes back to spreadsheets.
Releases break automations
Three Salesforce releases a year change behavior under your flows and integrations. Without testing, users find the problems first.
Nobody owns Salesforce
The implementation ended, the partner moved on, and Salesforce sits between sales, ops and IT with no one accountable for it.
What do Salesforce managed services include?
TrueSolv Salesforce managed services cover the six areas below. One team covers day-to-day administration and the technical work around it, so you do not need to split requests between an admin, a developer and an integration specialist.
User requests
Fields, page layouts, list views, reports, dashboards and the everyday questions your team sends to "whoever knows Salesforce".
Users and permissions
Onboarding and offboarding users, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules and access reviews that keep data where it should be.
Bug fixes
Broken flows, failing validation rules, Apex errors and data issues, traced to the root cause and fixed rather than patched around.
Small enhancements
New automations, approval steps and process tweaks as the business changes, scoped and estimated before any hours are spent.
Release checks, 3 times a year
Before each Spring, Summer and Winter release we review the changes, test them in a sandbox and fix what would affect you. See our notes on Winter '27 release changes.
Limits and integrations
Monitoring of storage, API and governor limits, plus integration error alerts, so a silent sync failure does not run for a month. More on integrations nobody owns.

How Salesforce managed support works: from handover to steady support in two weeks
We start by understanding what you already have, then move into a simple ticket rhythm with a report you can forward to your leadership team.
Intro call
We learn your teams, tools and the issues that hurt most right now, and agree on a package.
Day 1Onboarding and org audit
Access setup, a Salesforce Health Check of the org, documentation of key automations and a prioritized list of fixes.
Weeks 1–2Tickets and delivery
Your team submits requests through a ticket queue, Slack or Teams. Each one gets an owner, an estimate and a status.
OngoingMonthly report
Hours used, tasks closed, open items, release findings and recommendations for the next month.
Every monthSalesforce managed support packages: 20, 40 or 80 hours a month
Every package includes the full scope above. The difference is how many hours you have each month and how quickly requests are picked up. Pricing and response times are agreed on the intro call, and you can move between packages as your needs change.
| Essential | Growth MOST POPULAR | Scale | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hours per month | 20 hours | 40 hours | 80 hours |
| Critical issues | Priority response | Faster priority response | Fastest response |
| Standard requests | Within agreed SLA | Within agreed SLA | Within agreed SLA |
| Best for | Smaller orgs with occasional requests | Growing teams with a steady backlog | Several clouds and integrations |
| Release checks and monthly report | Included | Included | Included |
Salesforce licenses are billed by Salesforce and are not part of our packages. Larger projects are quoted separately at a fixed price. See our other Salesforce packages.
In-house admin, freelancer or managed support?
Managed support gives you admins, developers and an architect for a predictable monthly fee, without hiring. There is no single right answer, though. Here is how the three options compare for a company that needs Salesforce kept healthy without a large internal team. For a longer breakdown, read in-house admin vs Salesforce partner.
| In-house admin | Freelancer | TrueSolv managed support | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | $80K–$120K salary per year, plus benefits | Lower hourly rate, unpredictable monthly total | Predictable monthly fee for a set block of hours |
| Time to start | 2–3 months to hire and onboard | Fast, if available | 1–2 weeks, audit included |
| Skills covered | Admin; development usually outside scope | Usually one specialization | Admins, developers and an architect |
| Main risk | Single point of failure when they leave | Availability, no backup, no SLA | Less on-site presence; covered by shared channels |
| Release coverage | Depends on the person | Rarely included | 3 release checks per year |

What is Salesforce managed support?
Salesforce managed support is an ongoing service where a certified Salesforce partner runs administration, fixes, small enhancements and release testing for your org on a fixed monthly block of hours. At TrueSolv it comes in 20, 40 or 80 hour packages, starts with a 1–2 week onboarding and org audit, and includes a monthly report.
Do you cover US and UK time zones?
Yes. Our team works with clients in the US, Canada, the UK and Western Europe. We agree on overlap hours during onboarding, and critical issues are prioritized regardless of where they come from.
What access to our Salesforce org do you need?
We work through named user accounts with the minimum permissions needed, created by your admin or IT team. Changes are built and tested in a sandbox first and deployed to production with your approval. Access can be revoked at any time.
Is there a minimum contract term?
We usually start with a short initial term so onboarding and the org audit pay off, then continue month to month. The exact term is agreed on the intro call. Most clients stay well beyond it, because support gets more valuable as we learn your org.
Can we switch from our current Salesforce partner?
Yes, and it is one of the most common ways clients come to us. We run a structured handover: an org audit, documentation of existing automations and integrations, and a list of open issues, so nothing is lost when the previous partner steps back.
What if we need a developer, not just an admin?
Support hours can be used for Apex, Lightning components and integration work as well as admin tasks. If a request grows into a larger project, we quote it separately at a fixed price so it does not consume your monthly hours.
What happens to hours we do not use?
The rule for unused hours is agreed in your contract, and we keep it flexible. Your monthly report shows exactly how hours were spent, so you can move to a smaller or larger package whenever your needs change.
